Welcome to Zeta Tau Alpha!

My name is Kayla Astrab, and I am so excited to welcome you to the Alpha Zeta Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha here at The Ohio State University. It is truly an honor to be part of such a meaningful moment in your college journey, and I am grateful to share a glimpse into the sisterhood that has shaped my own experience.

Zeta Tau Alpha is a community rooted in genuine connection, mutual respect, and unwavering support. Our sisters challenge one another to grow, celebrate each other’s successes, and stand together through every season of life. From the first days on campus to life beyond graduation, the bonds formed here are lasting and deeply meaningful.

As you move through Primary Recruitment, I encourage you to approach each day with confidence and authenticity. This process is about discovering where you feel most yourself and most supported. When I began my own recruitment journey, I had no idea just how impactful ZTA would become in my life. From my earliest conversations with our chapter to the leadership opportunities I have been fortunate to experience, I have always felt encouraged, empowered, and truly valued. While recruitment can sometimes feel fast-paced or overwhelming, please remember that this experience is yours. Take a deep breath, trust your instincts, and allow yourself the space to ask questions and form genuine connections. Every interaction is an opportunity to learn more about the women around you—and about yourself.
