A Letter from Roxi Victor
Hi everyone - welcome to Kappa Alpha Theta!!
My name is Roxi Victor and I have the honor of serving as the chapter president of the Alpha Gamma chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at The Ohio State University. Becoming a Theta has truly changed my life for the better and I am ecstatic to share with you the reasons why.
Going into recruitment, I was nervous and unsure of how the process would work for me. My hope was to find a community of women who would bring out the best version of myself and to form connections and make memories that would last a lifetime. I am overjoyed to say that I found exactly what I was looking for at 1861 Indianola Avenue. Every time I talked with Theta during recruitment, I experienced the same indescribable feeling where every conversation was authentic, meaningful, and I never wanted it to end. I knew Theta was where I belonged.
One year later, I can confidently say the special feeling I had about
Theta during recruitment is prevalent today. The women of Kappa Alpha Theta inspire me daily with their commitment to one another and to the values of our chapter - Intellectual Curiosity, Leadership Potential, Commitment to Service, and Personal Excellence. I am extremely proud to represent over 250 intentional, compassionate, and hardworking women.
As you navigate through recruitment, my hope is that you thoroughly enjoy this once in a lifetime experience. Soak up the relationships that emerge from conversations with other potential new members. Appreciate the bonds created with each chapter. When it comes time to make a decision, my advice is to lead with your heart and choose the group of women who will celebrate your true self. I wish you the best of luck in this process! I am very excited for you to learn more
about the remarkable sisterhood we have here at Theta and to see where this journey will bring you!
Theta Love and Mine,
Roxi Victor
