Welcome to the Sigma Kappa chapter of Kappa Delta at The Ohio State University! My name is Gabrielle Condo, and I have the honor of serving as Chapter President this year. I’m so excited to welcome you to a place that has truly changed my life in the best ways possible.
Growing up in Central Ohio, I always dreamed of being a Buckeye—but I never imagined how big of a role Kappa Delta would play in shaping my college experience. Like many of you, I came into recruitment not fully knowing what to expect. I had heard of sororities and saw glimpses on social media, but I had no idea the depth of friendship, support, and confidence I would find in Kappa Delta.
From the first day of recruitment, I could feel that KD was something special. The conversations felt easy and genuine, and I walked away from every round more excited to return. It was clear that the women of Kappa Delta cared deeply for one another, and that sense of connection and authenticity made me feel seen, valued, and inspired. I knew I had found my home.
Since joining, Kappa Delta has given me so much more than I ever expected—lifelong friendships, endless laughter, and the kind of encouragement that helps you grow into the best version of yourself. Whether it’s celebrating wins, facing challenges, or just spending late nights with the girls who have become my second family, KD has truly become the heart of my college experience.
Our chapter is rooted in inspiring confidence and supporting one another, and I’ve seen that mission come to life every single day. I never imagined that I’d become president, but the women in this chapter believed in me before I believed in myself. They’ve helped me grow into a leader, a friend, and a stronger version of myself.
I’m so proud of the sisterhood we’ve built and even more excited about where we’re headed. I hope you find the same warmth and belonging during your recruitment journey that I felt from the moment I met the women of Kappa Delta. Trust the process, follow your heart, and know that your forever people are waiting for you.
