Hi everyone! Welcome to Delta Zeta!

My name is Paiton Russell, and I have the incredible honor of serving as the President of the Theta Chapter of Delta Zeta here at Ohio State! I am so excited to share with you why this sisterhood is so special to me.

During my first semester at Ohio State, I struggled to find a true sense of connection. I knew I wanted to put myself out there, but I was not sure where I would find my place. When I learned about Ohio State’s Greek Life, I had a feeling it might lead me to the friendships and community I was searching for. From the moment I walked through the doors at 212, I felt an overwhelming
sense of belonging and support. I came to Greek Life hoping to find connection, and in addition I found purpose, belonging, and a home.

I am forever indebted to the Theta Chapter for the lifelong friendships it has given me. I would not be the person I am today without the unwavering support and the confidence my sisters have instilled in me. Within our chapter, Delta Zeta’s six core values of Friendship, Curiosity, Generosity, Empowerment, Community, and Belonging, are not just words; they are lived out every single day. I constantly witness and I am amazed at the commitment, determination, encouragement, and genuine care our sisters show one another.

It is truly an honor to lead such an extraordinary group of women, and I cannot wait for you to experience the same love, growth, and sisterhood that have shaped me in the best way possible.
