A Letter from Teagan Ratycz

Hi! Welcome to Delta Gamma!

My name is Teagan Ratycz, and I am a junior and am incredibly honored to serve as Delta Gamma’s Chapter President.

Coming to Ohio State, I was excited but also nervous about finding where I truly belonged. With such a large campus and so many opportunities, it can feel overwhelming trying to figure out where you fit. When I decided to go through recruitment, I knew I was choosing to step outside out of my comfort zone in hopes of finding girls who would challenge me, support me, and walk beside me through every step of college.

From the moment I walked into Delta Gamma, I felt something special. There was a genuine comfort in the conversations, a calm atmosphere in the room, and an authenticity in the way everyone interacted with one another. It didn’t feel forced; it felt real. I saw girls who celebrated each other’s successes, supported one another through challenges, and were truly there for each other inside and outside of the chapter.

Delta Gamma has given me friendships that I know will last beyond my time at Ohio State. These are the women who push me to be better, remind me of my strengths when I doubt myself, and stand beside me in leadership, service, and everyday life. Through this sisterhood, I have grown not only as a student, but as a friend, leader, and person. If I could talk to my freshman year self, the one who was unsure and hoping to find her place, I would tell her that everything works out exactly as it should. Delta Gamma has given me more than I ever expected, and now I have the privilege of leading this chapter to ensure every member feels that same sense of belonging and purpose.

I am so proud to be part of this sisterhood, and I cannot wait to welcome the next members of strong, compassionate, and driven women into our chapter.

With love,
Teagan Ratycz
