Hi everyone! Welcome to Alpha Gam!
My name is Nicholette George and I have the privilege to serve as Alpha Gamma Delta’s Chapter President. I am beyond blessed to be surrounded by the wonderful women of the Alpha Lambda chapter of Alpha Gam, and I am thrilled to share with you why 1832 Indianola Ave holds such a special place in my heart! Being a first generation college student and coming from out-of-state, the decision to go through recruitment was not easy. Looking back on that moment over two years ago now, I would not change where I am now for the world!
Our members strive for excellence in every aspect of their life; from friendships, to academics, to community service, we aim to be the best we can be at everything. With our national motto being “Inspire the women. Impact the world”, we are constantly seeking to cultivate a sisterhood that is loving, leading, and lasting. Throughout the primary recruitment process, I knew I needed to find a group of women who upheld high ideals and display an authentic sisterhood – which is exactly what I found in Alpha Gamma Delta. The lifetime friendships I have made in this chapter are ones I will cherish for eternity. I have been able to grow immensely through my leadership roles and have been able to find my true self and develop into the person I am today.
Here at Alpha Gam, our hope is that each of our members feel the same devoted connection to each other and the purpose of our chapter. The recruitment process can be frightening and overwhelming, but I encourage you all to make the most of this experience and to consider where you feel the most at home. I am beyond excited for you all to begin this journey and cannot wait for you to learn what else Alpha Gam and the Panhellenic community has to offer!
