Hello, and welcome to Alpha Gam!

My name is Danielle Shoemake, and I proudly serve Alpha Gamma Delta as their Chapter President. I am so happy you are considering joining our Greek community! As the graduate of an all-girls high school, there was never a doubt in my mind that I wanted to join Greek life and find a sisterhood to support me during my time in college, and I found that forever home in Alpha Gam. 

Alpha Gam has created a steadfast community of bright and bold women that value unity and empowerment. Located at 1832 Indianola Avenue, our home is a perfect representation of the ideals we hold as a chapter and speaks of the love and lifelong bonds we have created during our time here. Our members strive to be the embodiment of our motto: Inspire the Woman, Impact the World.

During my three years in Alpha Gam, my sisters have pushed me to be the best version of myself. Whether through service, academics, self-care nights, or compliments in passing, my sisters have empowered me to grow and chase my dreams. 

Recruitment is an incredibly stressful time, but just by starting this process, you have opened yourself up to amazing possibilities. As a member of our Greek community, you have so much to look forward to! Remember to be yourself and trust the process. I wish you all the best, and hope you find a forever home here at Ohio State.
