A Letter from Clare Foster
Hi everyone, and welcome to 1832 Indianola Ave!
My name is Clare Foster, and I have the privilege to be serving as Chapter President for the Alpha Lambda Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta at Ohio State University! Alpha Gam has truly been one of the most life-changing aspects of my college experience and I would not be who I am today without the love and support of my sisters. With this being said, I am thrilled to share with you what makes Alpha Gam so special!
Guided by our motto, “Inspire the Woman. Impact the World,” our members value genuine honest friendships and strive for excellence in academics, leadership, and service. Our chapter is especially proud of our philanthropy, fighting food insecurity, and are committed to serving the community by volunteering at places around Columbus like Mid Ohio Food Collective and YWCA. I think our philanthropy gives our members an especially unique experience because of
the direct connections we make when volunteering!
This sisterhood has given me friendships that will extend far beyond college and leadership experiences, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Whether we are volunteering, celebrating each other’s wins, or simply spending time together in the house, the bonds formed here are genuine and lasting.
As you begin your recruitment journey, I encourage you to stay open and trust yourself. This process is about finding the place where you feel most comfortable and most like yourself! On behalf of the women of Alpha Gamma Delta, we are so excited to meet you and share our home with you!
From our home to yours,
Clare Foster
