About Our Philanthropy
Our philanthropy is CASA, which stands for court appointed special advocate. CASAs are volunteers that advocate for children's best interests. They make a huge difference in children's lives who have experienced abuse and neglect, many of whom are in the foster care system. CASAs act as the one stable figure in the child's life and offer support for important events like court dates and doctors appointments. Kappa Alpha Theta raises awareness for children in the foster care system and help raise money to train CASAs. Some examples of philanthropy events include Cookout for CASA and S'more Theta Love.
