PHILANTHROPY

About Our Philanthropy

Kappa Kappa Gamma is committed to service and philanthropy benefiting Mental Health America, an organization working to end the stigma towards mental health and provide resources for those experiencing mental health concerns. In the past, we’ve hosted fundraising events such as Kappa Dog Days, an annual event where the entire chapter sells hot dogs on a game day. Additionally, Kappa has worked with Reading is Fundamental, and organization dedicated to promoting successful reading education in children. We fundraise, collect and donate children’s books, and read to local elementary school students in an effort to promote stronger reading skills among young students. Kappa is also heavily involved in Buckeyethon, and holds the record for the largest team in Buckeyethon history. Kappa philanthropy is both a rewarding way to give back to our community and a fun way to bond with our sisters.
